Treasury official found dead, with neck, legs bound with cable ties
PETALING JAYA: A Treasury official was found dead this morning, with his neck and legs bound with cable ties.
However, Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Isa has ruled out foul play.
In a statement, Rusdi said the 45-year-old was discovered unconscious on the floor of an office in the finance ministry at 10.56am.
“We found no criminal element at the crime scene. The case has been classified as sudden death.”
The body has since been sent to Putrajaya Hospital for a post-mortem.
Rusdi advised the public not to speculate about the case.
